A most beautiful rose

I know what everyone is thinking. Isn't that such a pretty rose! Yes it is! But I will tell you a secret..it's not real! I made it! I'm sure everyone knows who Cindy is at My Romantic Home. Well she has a post from a while back about these amazing roses and that's where I discovered them! She made some beautiful ones!

You actually make them out of coffee filters! The link for instructions and a video is Here. On Martha Stewart's website. They are a lot of work but so amazing...

...and much prettier in person.

See it's not real I swear! lol All you need are coffee filters, florist's tape, wire, water color paints, and patience. lol Have fun I hope everyone tries it! It is so amazing. It took me about an hour to make and paint the whole thing. Then I blow dried it because, you do paint it with water colors and things get soggy. Someone left a comment saying they had done it and it worked out pretty well. Otherwise the directions say to let it dry over night! I didn't want to wait that long. lol Watch the video and follow it along to make yours because the written directions are not that helpful. Happy flower making everyone! :)

You did an amazing job on that rose! And do you have any Marshalls, TJMaxx or Homegoods stores in your area? You can find pretty teacups at good prices there. Good luck!
