Sooo many great finds!

Oh today was pretty great. After class I went thrifting, I couldn't find anything thrifting! So I went to an antique mall in Ocean Beach, CA. Close to San Diego. Where there is a great store I already love to go to called Vignettes Antiques, but I also went to another antique store called Newport Avenue Antique Center, where I found this cute little jewelry stand!

At the bottom are these pretty roses.

The hands are little clamps for necklaces and I guess bracelets.

As I was walking around earlier I had found some cute hankies I liked but I didn't grab them...until I had the idea for this!

The jewelry hanger is now a hankie hanger. I think I saw an idea similar to this on someones blog before, a long time ago, but I am not sure...

So after I found this little stand I went back for the hankies.

As you can see the one overlapping the other is white, the one below is kind of off white. But I really liked the flower on it.

This one is hard to photograph but I loved it!!! It is so lacy and delicate looking. At Vignettes I had seen these vintage wedding gloves, but I had passed them up before. But oh how I pined for them! So I was sooo happy when I went back today and they were still there.

Vignettes is all about the French, shabby, and romantic style, leaning more towards the French/romantic. But it is absolutely wonderful and the people who work there are so nice.

The gloves are a little squished at the fingers so I am trying to think of a way to flatten them out without damaging them. I didn't really know what to do with the gloves though. Above are a few ideas I had.

I also considered hanging them from the jewelry stand.

At Vignettes I also found these towel holder stands. I love things with lion heads on them. These are really old too.Maybe the gloves should go here? lol I tried it out at least.

Then I thought I could hang some hankies from them. Doesn't look too bad but the hankies are kind of stiff and so I had a hard time getting them to stay lol. I will find something to do with them! Any ideas you guys have for the gloves, hankies, jewelry stand, or lion stands I would greatly appreciate!

Love all your finds !!!!!!!! How fun.
i went thrifting yesterday also ! I found a Martha Washington style sewing table that is 50% off 125.00. I wounder what I could put in it ??? It's from the 40's, so more 'vintage' ...not a true antique.

I love DEPRESSION GLASS, DO YOU ?
Also, if you have a TJMaxx, they got in LA ROCHERE glassware !! It's the oldest glassware company in France- they started in the 1400's !! Their glasses are 3.99 each !! I bought every single one they had, I was soooooooo excited to see them. I love nothing more than a FABBY DEAL !!

Recently on some blog I saw a wreath with roses made from antique hankies. I wish I'd remembered which one, but they rolled them up like cabbage roses... really cute. Love your treasures!

Very pretty hankies. I started collecting them recently. I put them in my jacket pockets so that they just peek out. You can see a bit of lace or a splash of color.

I love the jewelry stand. You can use it for photos too. I think I would put the lions head thingie in my bathroom with a pretty guest towel.
