Do you guys like this?

image

I bought this at Target and I just don’t know if I like it. I am having  a heck of a time finding one online though. They are all way expensive or way ugly or not what I’m looking for. This is $30 dollars and I like it but I don’t know if I love it. What do you guys think!? If you guys don’t love it I’m returning it LOL.

Check this cute little bottle out. I got it at Goodwill for a buck. It’s a little country and as you guys have seen my stuff isn’t really country but I don’t care I just think it’s the cutest thing. I think whoever owned it before stored crayons or colored pencils in it because there is red waxy kind of stuff inside the top of the rim. I can’t find a way to get it off. Any suggestions?

I am also participating today in Recipe Exchange Thursday hosted by Just a Gal. So randomly at midnight I am craving orange juice!

So I had this idea for a recipe to share! Who likes Orange Julius? ;) This is a homemade Orange Julius!

orange 001

Morning Orange Drink

1 can (6 ounces) frozen orange juice

1 cup cold water

1 cup milk

1/3 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

10 ice cubes (or more)

Directions

Combine the first five ingredients in a blender; cover and process at high speed. Add ice cubes, a few at a time, blending until smooth. Pour into glasses; serve immediately.

4-6 servings

I’ve been making these for a long time but officially this recipe came from Readers Digest “Taste of Home: Winning Recipes” book. When I make it, it’s a little less uh…organized and more like eye balling ingredients LOL. So I wanted to give you guys an “official” version.

Enjoy everyone! Happy day!

Hi..I love those Tidbit Tiered Trays...and tne bottle is darling. My decoration motto is..buy what you LOVE, it will always work wwith what you have in your home, becuase it is YOU!

I forgot about Orange Julius'. I grew up in Washington State where they were in the Malls...don't even see them anymore...but I sure loved them. Thanks for the recipe!

Blessings...Lorena

Okay, I'm not in love with that 3 tier item either. Have you thought of creating your own? Something with plats that you like/love glued to thin candle sticks, smaller plate, another candle stick, and smallest plate on top. There is glass glue you can find at Home depot that would be perfect for the "craft". Love the little jug/bottle. How about using simple green to cut through the crayon wax? I know simple green is a degreaser so it may work.
That recipe is fab! I know my family would love this and it's so easy too! Thanks for sharing.

I am not in love with it, even though it is white it isn't chic enough for you girl. I have learned with age if I don't love it take it back. I wont love it later for sure.

Okay, I'm back! I went surfing and found this. This gives you an idea of what I'm talking about. Maybe it's something that will work for you? Maybe not, but I wanted you to see what I meant :0)

You can switch it up in so many different ways and I"m sure with your creativity you could create something that's "YOU".

I agree with Rechelle . Plus you'll have fun hunting the plates to do it with . And the orange Julius looks yummy !
Thank you for following me. I'm going to add you to my favorites.

Allison, put some things on it, and see how you like it when it's covered in either cookies or seashells or whatever. If it doesn't send you, then you can decide.

Love your cute milk bottle. Someone wrote an article years ago about getting tea stains out of cups, and they used denture tablets that fizz and clean. I don't know if this would work or not for your bottle, but maybe you could try putting it into the sink with some polident and seeing what happens. LOL! You never know! ;-)

XO,

Sheila

Thanks for stopping by my blog and identifying the white mystery bowl. You're the first one to tell me what it is, not even the lady I bought it from knew! I'll be checking the web for its uses. Thanks for the tip. And, thank you for the Orange Julius recipe. I grew up with an Orange Julius store at the Cerritos Mall. It's very nostalgic and I can't wait to share it with my kids.

Ah I am craving OJ now! Orange julius sounds really delicious, I will definitely have to make it sometime :)

Milk jar most definitely adorable! What are you going to use the 3 tiered serving whatsit for? It's really cool but you should only keep it if you are going to use it.

Hey thanks for stopping by. I have to be honest,I agree with the other poster, put some items on it and then see if you like it better. Can't wait to try your recipe, that would be great to make on the weekend at the camp.
