Fake Cake!

I found a fake cake at a thrift store! It’s chocolate :) with white chocolate curls and red filling ;) It’s on a glass pedestal and has a glass dome. I think it’s pretty cute.

Someday when I have my own adorable kitchen it will adorn my counter :) I plan on making my own faux cakes and cupcakes soon. That will be an interesting project to share lol. All the best everyone!

Hi Alli! Oh, I thought I was looking at a real live you can eat me cake! This is wonderful and it came with the dome and everything? Great deal. I've seen others who make the little faux cakes and cupcakes and thought it might be fun to make some one day!

Oh, about the tassel. I bought that one in Maryland and paid more than I should have for it, but I wanted it!
Then just a couple of weeks ago I found two from the same company you said at Marshalls for pennies!
Me too, I love Marshalls!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)

That looks like really nice one. I have one also..NOT that big and NOT that nice and...I didn't find the EXPENSIVE thing in a thrift store! I am purely jealous! But...happy for you! (she said grudgingly!)
Hugs and love~

Yes, yes...I know I already commented but...I just wanted to add that I have never, ever..seen a post that I just loved and thought was the cutest thing ever, than the one you posted "These are a few of my favorite things"...

Yesterday at the graduation party for Alex...I found myself talking about you as though you in my life and not a precious cyber friend. I told them all about where you went to school, about Taylor..and then I remembered...
None of them blog...so...
Anyway..I just wanted you to know that!

This is really cute Alli.
It looks so real. The only problem I would have is, that It would make me want a piece of real cake when I looked at it all day.
I have seen the cupcakes too, and they do look good enough to eat.
Can't wait to see the ones you make.

Hi Allison, thanks for stopping by my blog. I was just like you when I was your age. You don't find many 20 year olds that are so domestic and like to decorate like you. You have a great blog, Cheryl

Your faux cake and stand are so cute. I have a cupcake stand and dome which I keep a ceramic cupcake/candle, this is the momma version. I hope it survives the next earthquake.
