Flea market dessert server

The last thing I found at the Irvine flea market was a two tiered silver dessert server :) Many of you probably recall the Target one, well I returned it and found this little beauty :)

flea market etc 010 flea market etc 009 I haven’t had a tea party yet so I haven’t covered it with any treats but I tried putting a little vignette on it to make it look more pretty :)

Alli, you have found some wonderful flea market items lately. You're building a wonderful collection. I loved seeing your fur babies too. Really cute!

Alli, that's gorgeous!

It doesn't have to be a reno to join in! This is perfectly frugal & fabulous!

I love it! Especially the little feeties and with the white bird and pearls. I insist we have a tea party...

"Tea for Stephanie, tea for Allison, and tea for Nonna!"

Hi Allison,
I love the little silver server....I found a divided silver server at Goodiewill and I use it on my dresser in my bedroom for my jewelry and cologne bottles. I guess it depends on what room you are using it in.

Oh the little feeties! Too cute.
You could fill it with soaps and pretty handtowels or get some small containers to place on top to hold paperclips and other office supplies.

Nothings gonna change my world...except blogging. :)

Hi there! I'm playing catch up today and see I've missed a whole bunch. What FABULOUS finds you've made lately. I love, love, love the dessert server...and the feet just give it that little extra umph to make it oh so cute! I really like the bird sitting on it like that :0)
The compote is quite the find too, and the linens are awesome. I love linens!

So pretty Alli,
Great finds!!
I would put lots of differnt things in this. Sweets of course. Maybe shells for summer, old buttons, old skeleton keys, mercury glass items, birds and nests, ribbon. I could go on and on. Enjoy your treasures!

Hi Allison, I didn't know there was a flea market in Irvine. I've been trying to get over to the one in Long Beach, but this would be much closer for me. Great finds. I love the footed tier tray. Much more character than the Target one. Before you know it, you'll be set for a tea party! Glad you like my music, even my 22 mo. old is starting to sing 1,2,3,4! That's my lullaby to her! :-)

What a gorgeous versatile piece! You have so many uses for this...
- appetizer tray
- cookie or sweets tray
- jewelry holder
- candy tray (disply with colorful seasonal wrapped candy)
- you can put it in your bathroom closet or vanity to hold soaps
- display on vanity and put lipsticks on it
- folded scarfs could be layered on it

It's really pretty.
