I went to a Flea Market in Irvine, CA last Sunday. It was pretty big for Orange County. I found some goodies! I don’t know why I’m obsessed with hankies but I am. I found this lady who had a ton of hankies all pressed and completely clean! Only $2.50 a hanky! I was so impressed. Usually people charge $4 dollars plus and they don’t even bother cleaning them. Since I bought so many she charged me $5 less. Yay :)
This was only $1 and came from a different vendor who didn’t know what it said. Thanks goodness for French friends! Apparently it says Love Always or Always Love.
I didn’t know what these were. The lady had to tell me that they were for keeping your rolls warm LOL. I really liked the one on the left with blue trim but I wanted two so I also got the white one.
The lady also recommended using it to keep extra hankies nice and orderly.
I have other goodies that I’ll share next time :) All the best everyone!

Those are beautiful. I have been looking for some. I want to use them over my lamps in both bedrooms. We use the low wattage bulbs so heat won't be a problem.
So far, no luck. They are out there...you are proof of that. You ..got a good deal!!
Hugs..

Beautiful linens, you really hit the jackpot!!! You must have an awesome collection. . .
Allison,
These are so pretty...so dainty and fresh!!! I love them all!!! I have a few my Mom has given me over the years I keep them in my daughters room. Maybe I'll do a post about them. I will be sure to mention you if I do.
You always find the best goodies!!! Half the fun is in the hunt. Don't you agree?!!!
Have a wonderful Saturday!!!
XOXO

What a bunch of pretties! I have about 20 old hankies I got from my Great Grandmother. I love them, but haven't done anything with them. I did however wash, iron and give one to each of my cousins to carry with them at that same Great Grandmother's funeral so they could have a little part of her with them.
Have a great weekend!
Oh my what lovely treasures you found.
I can't believe the bargain price !
That makes it even sweeter.
The French one reminds me of a perfume that came out back in the 70's when I was in high school.
While I was always the horse loving tomboy I was every inch a gurly girl .
Have a fantastic weekend.
Thank you again for all the lovely pictures you posted.
I just love my visits to your blog you are so creative.

They are all so beautiful. I really love the French saying on the blue and white hanky. Great finds at great prices!
Wow great deal! (Was that the one at the Orange County Fairgrounds?) I have to laugh that you didn't know what the "roll warmer" was for! You are so YOUNG!!!! Makes me smile!
I sure am looking forward to the Rose Bowl tomorrow!!! Can't wait. I just hope it isn't HOT!
TTYL! Have a good day!
I just wanted to say..in case you don't know...that the roll warmer goes in a little round bread basket..you can find them in most craft stores. Take it with you and find one that it fits. :) (You probably already knew..but..just in case.)
Hugs..
Mona
How lovely your finds are!
I always wondered what the odd shaped ones were used for - I now know - isn't that great!
Hi Allison, Lovely vintage linens you found. I have several of the old bread basket liners and never thought to use them for storing hankies! ~xo~Janet
Wow! Your finds are lovely, love them all. I'm sure you'll enjoy using them.
Oh, I'm hooked! Where did you find a flea market in Irvine? I live close and have never seen one locally.
