Garage sale finds

A while back at a garage sale I found a couple cute things like these numbers on a pick. They are stainless and come in a set of two numbers. I thought they were kind of retro looking and neat and they were from Crate and Barrel :) $1 dollar so hey I got them LOL.

a million 213

a million 215

a million 217

The same garage sale also had a recipe tin from Martha Stewart that looked pretty new so I got that too!

I thought it was cute enough plus it was only a dollar too.. I think lol. I haven’t used any of these things yet but I am planning on transferring my recipes soon. Right now they are all in a three ringed binder lol. Anyone gotten anything fun at a garage sale lately? All the best!

Great finds! If they were bigger and rust resistant, I'd want to stick those numbers in my lawn for my house number! :)

I hardly ever find anything as cool as the stuff you seem to find! One of these days I am just going to have to come kidnap you (since we both live in Socal) and go garge saleing with ya! :) I can only imagine how much the picks were at Crate and Barell...probably about 35 bucks...great deal!

Hey Allison.....I love the Martha Stewart recipe box....only $1, too! What are you going to use the numbers for..any ideas? Garage sales kind of slowed down around here the past couple of weeks:( Going to Amish country tomorrow for our anniversary...they have some great shops and antique stores. I will do a post on it when I get back.

Love the recipe box. I need a new one. Mine is from a HS foods class I took, it's an ugly gray plastic thing that has seen it's better days. The lid won't even snap shut anymore. I haven't bought any garage sale treasures lately, I need to get out there on the HUNT!

But of course! We are off to garage sales in the morning. I need nothing, but the thrill of the hunt is more than I can resist. That Martha Stewart tin is wonderful. I found a recipe box also..wood but no interior cards etc. so I need to find some to fit. You had wonderful finds..
Hugs.
