Frenchyness

Someone else posted about this who was it!? So Marshalls had these knives which are made in France and have cute little bees at the handle for you to rest your finger on! I got a set with a white handle and a stainless. They were two different brands..and even looked like different quality so I returned the white because they didn’t seem as good of quality. The bees are even different! But check them out they are so cute!

The nicer ones had this neat little history of the knives on the back.

Here’s the white set.

Sooo you can see that the all stainless set just seems a little better, even a better holder! I only got the white because I had done that beachy tablescape and thought it would be cute and matching but then I was like should I really spend $10 bucks for this that I won’t use for anything else? haha. Anyway! Who was it that posted about this!? I tried to remember and find the post; it’s because of you I got these lol! All the best everyone!

I love those little bees! You'll feel like royalty dining with them and you don't have to worry about getting stung, hee hee. I like the stainless set better too. Are you keeping the white ones? You might as well for only $10. Hope you are having a great Monday Alli!

Evening, Ali! Oh, I love these knives! But you're probably right, the stainless is probably a better value. I don't know who posted about these, but if I can get my tiny hands on some ~ I'll be posting! :)

Hi Allison,
You always find the coolest things! I love the knives and the toile placemats and napkins. What is it about toile that just makes my heart melt? So, no post about Vegas? I guess what happens in Vegas really stays in Vegas! :) Hope you're having a great week.

These are beautiful. I am with you; the all silver ones are a bit more substantial looking, but the white would be beautiful, too... I love flatware and dishes.

I didn't do the post either. Now I really have to go to Marshall's to check out the toile napkins and the bee knives.

You found some cool stuff! Thanks.

Hey Allison. Love the knives, I would have returned them too. The silver will go with just about anything. Did you know some people consider it bad luck to give knives as gifts. My mom made me give my MIL a penney to "buy" the chef's set she gave me!

Just found your blog and came by for a visit. You are getting an early start on collecting things for tablescaping--by the time you are my age, you will need a warehouse! Enjoyed my visit!

OK Girly...I'm a Marshall's LOVIN' FOOL! That and HomeGoods! Just can't stay outa those stores.

I'm a Cali native living in Oklahoma. Our choices for shopping aren't nearly as fabulous as what you have in my gorgeous home state. :( :( :( Still...we at least have Dallas which is 3 1/2 hours away....good thing!

Love your sweet little bloggie. Your face reminds me of my beautiful niece, Cat!
